On October 24, 1998 I started a webpage to amuse myself and my friends. It was the thing to do at the time. It was also a place where I could write about my life, my thoughts, and rant about things that bugged me. It was therapeutic. Then it became a place to keep people updated about things going on, and a place to hold my pictures from my road-trips, vacations and hiking adventures. But life and business travel took away the frequency of my updates, and I lost interest. Plus, maintaining static HTML pages blows goats. So, the site died.
Guidothesquid.com 2.0 was born on April 18, 2006 in a conventional blog format. It will be under construction for quite awhile, but this will be much easier to maintain and make posts.
